Friends, family, and fans have shared their fondest memories of JM, recounting his achievements as an athlete, debater, gamer, and his compassion for the underprivileged, showcasing his unwavering love for his Filipino heritage.

The Canlas family is set to commence JM's wake from August 4, until Sunday, August 6, at St. Peter Chapel Quezon Avenue, Room 116. The wake will be a celebration of JM's short but remarkable life, an opportunity for all who knew him to cherish the memories they shared.

In the statement, Jerom acknowledged JM's struggles with mental health during his adolescence. As a family grappling with unimaginable pain, they urged anyone facing current distress to seek immediate assistance
