Eumir Marcial has not only secured another chance for a gold medal in the 19th Asian Games but has also guaranteed his re-appearance at the Olympic stage in Paris 2024.

Marcial achieved a resounding knockout victory against his Syrian opponent, Ahmad Ghousoon Wednesday at the HZ Gymnasium in Hangzhou, China.

Marcial sent Ghousoon crashing into the canvas in the second round of the semifinals.

With Marcial’s victory against Ghousoon, he secures his spot in the gold medal match against Tanglatihan Tuohetaerbieke of China on Thursday at 8:30 p.m.
