Albay Representative Joey Salceda shared a significant update from the proponents of the People's Initiative, revealing that they have reportedly surpassed the required 12% signature threshold nationwide.

"As of last night, we’ve reached the 12.1 (percent) threshold; we have already reached the mandate of the people. So the Constitution should operate as provided," stated Albay Rep. Joey Salceda. This milestone brings the initiative one step closer to realizing its objectives, as supporters aim to make constitutional changes through the expressed will of the people.
