6 Domestic Flights Canceled Due To Bad Weather

MANILA – At least six domestic flights were canceled as of Thursday afternoon due to inclement weather, the Manila International Airport Authority said.
These flights were:
PAL Express (2P) 2557/2558 Manila-Dipolog-Manila
Cebu Pacific (5J) 703/704 Manila-Dipolog-Manila
CebGo (DG) 6839/6840 Manila-Siargao-Manila
The weather bureau said the low pressure area (LPA) was last tracked 355 km. east southeast of Surigao City, Surigao del Norte province or 345 km. east of Butuan City, Agusan del Norte and remains less likely to develop into a tropical cyclone.
However, the LPA and the shear line are forecast to cause moderate to heavy with at times intense rains over the regions of Eastern and Central Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao and Negros Occidental province. (PNA)
