The 960th Air and Missile Defense Group of the Philippine Air Force has joined forces with the 38th Air Defense Artillery Brigade of the United States Army in a Subject Matter Expert Exchange (SMEE) on April 19, 2023.

The exercise took place at NETDC, San Antonio, Zambales, and aimed to enhance the knowledge and capabilities of the Air and Missile System Operators on air and missile defense operations.

The SMEE session was led by experts from the 38th Air Defense Artillery Brigade, who shared their expertise on the Patriot Missile Defense System. They discussed the various specifications, capabilities, and key parts of the system, including the Radar set, Engagement Control Station, Missile launchers, and the Patriot Missile.

The exercise proved to be an effective learning opportunity for the 960th AMDG as they gained a deeper understanding of air and missile defense operations. It also provided an opportunity for the Philippine Air Force to strengthen its ties and camaraderie with the United States Army.

The 960th AMDG is known for its expertise in air and missile defense, and its participation in the SMEE with the US Army further enhanced their capabilities.
