Anti-Terrorism Council Tags Arnie Teves And Others As Terrorists

The Anti-Terrorism Council (ATC) has designated Congressman Arnolfo “Arnie” Teves, Jr. and his armed group as a terrorist organization, along with several identified individuals, in Resolution Number 43 (2023).

The Designation of the "Teves Terrorist Group": The ATC, in accordance with the powers vested in it by Section 45 of the Anti-Terrorism Act of 2020 (ATA), has found probable cause for violations of Sections 4, 6, 10, and 12 of the ATA. As a result, the "Teves Terrorist Group" has been officially designated as a terrorist group of persons, organization, or association.

Individuals Tagged as Terrorists: The following identified personalities have been designated as terrorist individuals for their involvement in the activities of the Teves Terrorist Group:
Congressman Arnolfo "Arnie" Alipit Teves, Jr., Pryde Henry A. Teves, Marvin H. Miranda, Rogelio C. Antipolo, Rommel Pattaguan, Winrich B. Isturis, John Louie Gonyon, Dahniel Lora, Eulogio Gonyon, Jr., Tomasino Aledro, Nigel Electona, Jomarie Catubay and Hannah Mae Sumero Oray.

In addition to the Teves Terrorist Group, the ATC has also designated individuals affiliated with the DI-Maute Group, namely Hafida Romato Maute and Nahara Khairiya Sittie Hamim, as terrorists for their involvement in committing terrorism and planning and facilitating acts of terrorism.
