Arci Munoz Exposes In-Flight Theft

Filipino actress Arci Muñoz took to her TikTok page last Friday, November 10, to share an incident during her recent flight from Japan to the Philippines with Korean Air airlines. Muñoz revealed that she lost her credit card while on board in a business class cubicle.
The actress recounted the incident, stating, “When a guy while I was resting in my cubicle sa business class ito nangyari when it was time to land, syempre nagising ako, naalimpungatan ako may lalaking nakatayo sa cubicle ko”.
Muñoz continued, “Tapos kinukuha niya ‘yung magazine do’n sa cubicle ko, knowing that all cubicles in the business class has magazines. Ako naman, inisip ko lang na baka wala siya nung magazine na nando’n sa cubicle ko”.
Fortunately, another passenger questioned the man's actions, leading to Muñoz realizing that her bag had been tampered with. “Buti nalang this woman she’s very nice she’s sent by God , She asked me do you know that guy? And I was like “no” And then she stood up tapos she confronted the man, ‘Why did you touch her bag?’ Ako naman, sabi ko, bakit nawawala ‘yung bag ko, and then I saw my bag on the floor near the aisle e sa window seat ako nakaupo”.
Muñoz then discovered unauthorized transactions on her credit card a few days later in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, and Jakarta. She expressed gratitude to BDO for promptly addressing the matter.
Regrettably, Muñoz couldn't report the incident during her layover in South Korea due to time constraints. In her video, she urged Korean Air airlines to look into the matter, stating, “I’m doing this video to warn you guys there is a dangerous world out there. You can’t be really safe so you have to be really alert and careful, mindful of your things. The world is not a safe place.”
Muñoz hopes that by sharing her experience, others will be vigilant while traveling and that airlines will take necessary precautions to ensure the safety of their passengers.
