Arrest Warrant Issued For Arnie Teves And Others In Criminal Case

State Prosecutors have filed a motion to amend the Information for multiple Criminal Cases, leading to the issuance of arrest warrants for individuals, including Arnolfo Teves, Jr, also known as "Arnie," and others allegedly involved in the cases.
The State Prosecutors' motion, dated May 25, 2023, was accepted by the court, amending the Information in several Criminal Cases, including those related to attempted murder and murder charges. The individuals added as co-accused in these cases are Joven Javier Y Calibjo, Joric Labrador Y Garido, Jhudiel Rivero Y Rojas (a.k.a. "Osmundo Rojas Rivero"), and Benjie Rodriguez Y Buladola (a.k.a. "Bengie Rodriguez Buladula").
One change in the case involves the conversion of Criminal Case No. R-MNL-23-02363-CR from an initial charge of Frustrated Murder to Murder following the death of victim Fredelino E. Cafe, Jr. on May 6, 2023.
Furthermore, the State Prosecutors have filed a Joint Motion to Admit Attached Amended Informations for several other cases, amending Informations to include additional persons as co-accused. These individuals are identified as:
1. Arnolfo Teves, Jr Y Alipit (a.k.a. "Arnie," "Big Boss," "Big Boss Idol," "Boss Idol," "Idol," "Kalbo"). 2. Angelo Palagtiw Y Valiente (a.k.a. "Angelou," "Angelo Valiente," "Gelo," "Gelou"). 3. An alias identified as the "Sister of Angelo Palagtiw" (a.k.a. "Gee Ann," "Jie An"). 4. Capt. Lloyd Cruz Garcia II. 5. Nigel Electona (a.k.a. "Najel," "Naijel")
Following an evaluation of the amended Informations, accompanying Resolutions, and supporting documents, the court has found probable cause to issue a Warrant of Arrest for Arnolfo Teves, Jr Y Alipit, Angelo Palagtiw Y Valiente, the alias "Sister of Angelo Palagtiw," and Capt. Lloyd Cruz Garcia II. Additionally, a Commitment Order has been issued for Nigel Electona, who is reportedly detained in the Manila City Jail.
In response to these developments, the court has ordered the transfer of Nigel Electona from Manila City Jail to the Metro Manila District Jail (MMDJ)-Annex 2, BJMP Compound, Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City.
In light of these developments and the inclusion of additional voluminous documents in these cases, the court has rescheduled the Arraignment and Pre-trial Conference to October 4, 2023, at 1:30 in the afternoon. The previously scheduled hearing on September 6, 2023, at 1:30 in the afternoon has been cancelled.
