In today's plenary session of the House of Representatives, held on Tuesday, November 7, Congressman Tonypet Albano of Isabela and Congressman Yasser Balindong of Lanao del Sur were appointed as the new Deputy Speakers, replacing Representatives Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo of Pampanga and Isidro Ungab of Davao.

The newly elected Deputy Speakers assumed their positions, marking a significant change in House leadership.

Former Deputy Speaker Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo was succeeded by Tonypet Albano from Isabela, while Isidro Ungab was replaced by Yasser Balindong of Lanao del Sur.

Both Arroyo and Ungab were known allies of Vice President Sara Duterte.

The reshuffling of Deputy Speakers is expected to have an impact on the dynamics within the House of Representatives, as the new appointees take on their roles in the legislative body.
