A fresh legal battle has emerged against showbiz personality Awra Briguela on charges of life threats, grave coercion, and violation of the Safe Spaces Act.

According to Atty. Nick Nangit, who represents Mark Christian Ravana, the new case stems from an incident that occurred outside a bar. This follows a previous legal action taken against Awra in relation to a brawl that took place in the Makati district, which resulted in charges of slight physical injuries and simple disrespect to public officials.

The charges filed this morning at the prosecutor's office pertain to a separate incident that unfolded within the bar. Allegedly, Awra Briguela is accused of forcibly undressing his client, Mark Christian Ravana, attempting to trap him on the third-floor premises by locking a door, and physically damaging his attire.

This recent legal development adds to the ongoing legal troubles of the showbiz personality. Awra Briguela's initial charges arose after a confrontation in the Makati neighborhood, resulting in his arrest. The charges at that time included slight physical injuries and disrespect towards public officials.

Awra Briguela's legal team is expected to provide a response to the new charges in the coming days.
