In a heartfelt Instagram post shared with her followers, actress Bela Padilla revealed the somber news of her father's passing.

"Our dad passed away last night in his sleep, and that is my only consolation in all of this. He wasn't in pain, and he hopefully was dreaming of the happy times in his life," Bela shared, her words carrying a mix of sorrow and acceptance.

The post continued with Bela's touching tribute to her father's vibrant spirit and the profound impact he left on her life and that of her sister, Ceri. Bela recounted a poignant conversation with Ceri, where they shared memories of their father's boundless love for them and for himself. "My dad loved us, his children, deeply. And he also loved himself. And that certainly is true," she wrote.

Bela's father, it seems, was a man who embraced life with open arms. He possessed an uncanny ability to seek out joy in every corner of the world. Bela recounted how he always knew the coolest spots in any country he visited, endearing him to people around him. Even in the local bar scenes, he was a beloved figure, charming bands with his heartfelt singing along.
The post painted a picture of a man who instilled invaluable life lessons in Bela.

He taught her to embrace the water fearlessly, nurturing a love for diving and swimming. His problem-solving approach, where he would consider multiple solutions before reacting, became a practice Bela strives to emulate. He stood as a beacon of determination, never accepting "no" when he believed in a cause, making sure his stance on what was right was crystal clear.

Bela's memories painted a portrait of a man whose emotions flowed like a river – deeply empathetic, yet madly funny. He held a unique ability to connect with people, offering warm hugs that were never the first to break away.

As Bela grapples with the pain of loss, she expressed a longing for one more day with her father. Yet, she acknowledged the inevitability of moving forward. "For now, and until paradise comes, the memories will tide us over," she concluded, a bittersweet note of remembrance and hope.

Bela Padilla's touching tribute to her father serves as a reminder that even in grief, love and cherished memories have the power to console and uplift. In sharing her journey of loss, she finds strength in unity and healing through the stories that shape us.
