Dapitan City Mayor Seth Frederick “Bullet” Jalosjos shared his thoughts on TVJ's (Tito, Vic, and Joey) new home at TV5. In an interview on CNN Philippines, he expressed his happiness that they now have a new home and congratulated them for launching their show early on TV5.

Jalosjos, who also stands as Chief Financial Officer of TAPE Inc., mentioned that if their time slots don't clash, he will also watch TVJ's show.

He believes that the people and the public are the real winners in this situation. He acknowledged that TVJ has found their new home on Channel 5, and if people want to watch the old TVJ, they can tune in to that channel. However, he mentioned that if they want to see something newer, happier, and more energetic, with new faces, they can always watch Eat Bulaga (EB). He reiterated that the platform of EB is to provide opportunities for young talents to showcase their art.

Jalosjos emphasized that they are not here to compare or compete with TVJ. He expressed great respect for TVJ and stated that they will always be a part of his life. He assured that even if the time slots don't align, he will still support and watch TVJ.

He admitted that it has been challenging and thanked everyone for their support. He mentioned that it proves that a show like Eat Bulaga, as famous as it is, is not made by just one or three individuals. There are certain maneuvers and actions happening behind the scenes. He also revealed that on the day of their show's launch, they received calls from the old group trying to recruit TVJ to leave them and prevent them from airing. He expressed his hope that they would have been left alone and that they have already achieved what they wanted. He acknowledged that there might be pressure involved.

Jalosjos explained that they trademarked the name "Eat Bulaga" in 2011, and they also had another application in 1991. He mentioned that no one opposed their filing or application for the trademark, including TVJ. He believes this indicates that the name "Eat Bulaga" belongs to their company and corporation, and no one can take it away from them.

Lastly, Jalosjos denied the claim that they wanted TVJ to appear on their show only three times a week. He clarified that it was part of the negotiation to give room for Wally, Jose, and Paolo to shine on the show.
