Careless CEO Arrested Amid Allegations Of Unregistered Business Operations

The July 31st episode of "Cristy Ferminute" exposed a stunning revelation about Careless, an entertainment label company that manages artists including Liza Soberano and Issa Pressman.

Veteran showbiz columnist and radio host Cristy Fermin claimed that authorities had discovered that Careless was not registered as a legitimate company, leading to the arrest of its CEO.

According to Cristy Fermin, the CEO of Careless, Jeffrey Oh, was apprehended in his office located in Poblacion, Makati. Allegedly, he faced multiple complaints that prompted authorities to take action against him. "Inakyat siya doon ng mga awtoridad dahil may mga reklamo laban sa kanya," Cristy revealed during her show.

The situation escalated further when it was revealed that Oh, 34 years old, had been arrested on July 28 in Barangay Poblacion, Makati. He was purportedly engaging in gainful employment without the necessary documentation required to operate a business in the country. The absence of proper business operation papers, including SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) registration, came as a shock to many.

Cristy Fermin also indicated that Oh's legal troubles might extend to potential deportation due to his inability to provide evidence of his authorization to operate a business in the country. "Wala rin siyang SEC [Securities and Exchange Commission] registration. Sinet up 'yung paghuli sa kanya nung Friday. In-inquest na rin siya nung hapon," Cristy disclosed.

Further complicating matters, the columnist claimed that one of the complainants against Jeffrey Oh was none other than James Reid's father, Malcolm Reid. "Dahil yung pera ng anak niya dahil parang sosyo sila 'di ba hindi nakakarating kay James Reid 'yung kaukulang pangako na perang ibibigay bilang partner," Cristy alleged.

As this scandal continues to unfold, neither Jeffrey Oh nor James Reid, his business partner, have provided any comments regarding the arrest. Soberano, who is managed by Jeffrey Oh, has refrained from making any statements about the situation.
