Carl Tamayo Newest Filipino Recruit in Japan's B. League

Former UP Fighting Maroon, Carl Tamayo, is set to join Japan's B. League after being officially introduced as a member of the Ryukyu Golden Kings.

Tamayo, a standout forward in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), caught the attention of the Golden Kings with his impressive performances on both ends of the court. The 6-foot-7 young player is expected to make an immediate impact on the team with his size, athleticism, and basketball IQ.

The Ryukyu Golden Kings, a professional basketball team based in Okinawa, Japan, competes in the country's top-tier league, the B. League. With Tamayo now on their roster, they are looking to improve their standing and contend for the championship.
