The Philippines has reason to celebrate as Carlos Edriel Yulo clinched the silver medal for Parallel Bars at the 2023 World Cup Series in Doha, Qatar. Yulo, known as the golden boy of Philippine gymnastics, had an impressive run throughout the competition, winning gold in the Floor event and bronze in Vault.

Yulo's remarkable performance was a result of the hard work and dedication of his coaches, Kugimiya Munehiro, Reyland Yuson Capellan, and Juancho Miguel E. Besana who have been instrumental in his success.

The Parallel Bars final was a closely contested event, with Illia Kovtun of Ukraine claiming gold with a score of 14.966, just ahead of Yulo's 14.933. Ferhat Arican of Turkey took the bronze with a score of 14.733.
