Carmona Cavite Now A Component City

The Local Government of Carmona in the province of Cavite announced the declaration by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) that Carmona has officially attained the status of a Component City. This comes after a highly successful plebiscite, where an overwhelming majority of Carmona's residents voted in favor of cityhood.

A total of 30,363 residents, accounting for an impressive 96.76% of the voting population, cast their votes in favor of Carmona's cityhood.

With this declaration, Carmona becomes the eighth city in the province of Cavite, joining the ranks of other cities in the region.

The elevation of Carmona to cityhood status signifies the remarkable progress and advancements the municipality has achieved over the years.
