Cessna 152 Crash Site Found In Apayao, Philippines

Apayao Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Officer Jeoffrey Borromeo confirmed today, August 2, 2023, that the crash site of a Cessna 152 has been located at the boundary of Barangay Salvacion, Luna, and San Mariano Pudtol, Apayao.
In a video posted by Cagayan PIO, a distressing scene of an aircraft was captured by concerned citizens along the coastal area of Sanchez Mira and Pamplona, Cagayan.
This comes alongside a report from the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) Region II stating that a two-seater Cessna 152 single engine with body number RP-C8598. The Provincial Government is also still verifying the status of the passenger or passengers of the plane.
The aircraft was en route to Tuguegarao City and last monitored 32 nautical miles from Alcala, Cagayan.
