The final scores stood at 16-25, 22-25, 25-19, 25-17, and 15-11, leaving spectators in awe of The Flying Titans' tenacity and skill on the court.
Despite a challenging start, the Filipina squad secured the third seed position in the preliminary round, boasting an impressive 3-2 record. Even before the match began, their playoff berth had been assured following Kansai University of Social Welfare's defeat against Vietnam 1 on the previous day.
