Cignal TV Secures PH Broadcast Rights To FIFA Women's World Cup

The Philippine Football Federation (PFF) has expressed its delight over the announcement made by Cignal TV Inc., which has secured the broadcast rights to the highly anticipated FIFA Women's World Cup in the country. This development ensures that Filipino football enthusiasts will have the opportunity to watch the Philippines Women's National Team create history in the biggest women's sporting event in the world.
The announcement comes just a few days ahead of the Filipinas' debut match in the FIFA Women's World Cup against Switzerland on July 21 in Dunedin, New Zealand. PFF President Mariano "Nonong" Araneta described this as an exciting development for football fans in the Philippines. He expressed his gratitude to Cignal TV for stepping up and ensuring that the Filipinas' historic campaign will be available for viewing in the Philippines.
The preliminary round games of the Philippine National Team will be broadcasted on free-to-air channels via One Sports (free-to-air Ch. 41 and Cignal Ch. 6). In addition, Cignal's newest over-the-top (OTT) platform, Pilipinas Live, will provide free access to the matches.
