Congressman Arnie Teves And Associates Face Murder Charges In 2019 Killings

Negros Oriental Congressman Arnolfo “Arnie” Teves and a group of individuals find themselves in the crosshairs of justice as murder charges have been formally filed against them. The charges revolve around a trio of chilling killings that sent shockwaves through Negros Oriental in 2019, leaving a former Provisional Board member, a bodyguard, and an innocent civilian dead.

The victims, Michael Dungogue, a former NBI agent, Lester Bato, a bodyguard linked to a mayoralty candidate, and Pasita Lebron, a motorcycle rider in Bayawan City, met gruesome fates in a series of events that left the community horrified. The alleged killings took place on March 25, May 26, and an unfortunate day in Bayawan City, respectively.

After an exhaustive four-month preliminary investigation, the wheels of justice have been set in motion, with murder cases officially filed against Congressman Teves and his associates.
