The Ablaze, who emerged victorious in the thrilling Invitational Final, drew the attention of Cool Smashers team manager Alan Acero even before the post-game festivities. The Philsports Arena in Pasig was filled with confetti during the awarding ceremonies, and amidst the celebration, Kurashiki momentarily reveled in their dugout. However, the Ablaze's disciplined and hospitable nature shone through as they quickly shifted gears and joined the arena staff in cleaning up the venue before proceeding to their well-deserved dinner celebration.
Japanese volleyball clubs, including Kurashiki, have long been praised for their kindness, hospitality, and discipline, not only towards their opponents but also in their willingness to help the game staff in any way possible. It was no surprise to Acero and Filipino volleyball fans that the Ablaze displayed such a gracious act, as the team had been known to carry pieces of cloth in their pockets for every game to assist the game staff in keeping the playing court dry.
In another heartwarming gesture, prior to their gold-medal match against Creamline, the Kurashiki team visited Barangay 158 in Tondo, Manila, to conduct an outreach program with the community residents. This outreach exemplified the Japanese club's commitment to giving back and making a positive impact beyond the confines of the volleyball court.
