The Kapisanan ng Social Broadcasters ng Pilipinas, Inc. (KSMBPI) has filed a criminal case against popular Pinay vlogger, Toni Fowler.
The case, brought forward by KSMBPI President Atty. Leo Olarte, MD, and KSMBPI lawyer Atty. Mark Tolentino, alleges that Toni Fowler's YouTube music videos contain explicit and indecent depictions of male anatomy.
KSMBPI representatives formally lodged the case at the Pasay City Prosecutors Office this morning. The charges stem from three separate music videos uploaded by Fowler, which are said to display explicit and lascivious scenes involving male individuals.
The legal action is based on violations of the Revised Penal Code Section 201 in Relation to the Cybercrime Law. Each video is subject to fines ranging from P6,000 to P12,000 and imprisonment of up to 20 years.
