'Decision to Leave' wins Grand Prize in 59th Baeksang Arts Awards

The 59th Baeksang Arts Awards celebrated the best in television, film, and theater from the past year. The ceremony took place on April 28 at Paradise City in Incheon, and it was hosted by Shin Dong Yup, Suzy, and Park Bo Gum.

Director Park Chan Wook won the Grand Prize in film for "Decision to Leave," with lead star Tang Wei taking home Best Actress. Art director Ryu Seong Hee, who worked on "Decision To Leave," accepted the award on Park Chan Wook's behalf.

In the television category, Park Eun Bin won the Grand Prize for her role in ENA's "Extraordinary Attorney Woo." Yoo In Shik of "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" was awarded Best Director. Netflix's "The Glory" won three awards, including Best Drama, Best Actress for Song Hye Kyo, and Best Supporting Actress for Lim Ji Yeon. "The Night Owl" and "Next Sohee" both won three trophies each.

Park Eun Bin thanked the team and expressed her gratitude for the love and attention the drama received, which exceeded everyone's expectations. She also hoped that the drama would help people understand autism and recognize the unique characteristics each person has.

Yoo In Shik praised Park Eun Bin's acting and expressed his hope that the hearts with which the drama was created are conveyed to all the Young Woo's of the world who are standing in front of revolving doors.

The Baeksang Arts Awards recognized outstanding contributions to the entertainment industry and celebrated the hard work of actors, directors, and crew members. The winners represent the best of the best in television, film, and theater, and their performances have touched audiences all around the world.
