DND Secretary Gibo Teodoro Confirms Contemplation Of Perjury Charges Against Environmental Activists

In a recent development, the Secretary of the Department of National Defense (DND), Gibo Teodoro, has officially confirmed that his department is currently exploring the option of filing perjury charges against two environmental activists, Jhed Reiyana Tamano and Jonila Castro.
These activists had previously participated in a press conference held by the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) and made serious accusations against the military.

He stated, "Many witnesses were present when they voluntarily surrendered, and now they have suddenly changed their stance, so we are examining the possibility of pursuing perjury charges against them."
