In a recent statement, Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista underscores the Department of Transportation's commitment to the December 31 deadline for the consolidation of Public Utility Vehicle (PUV) operators and drivers.

Bautista revealed that a significant 70% of PUV operators have already participated in the consolidation process, demonstrating substantial industry support.

"The PUV consolidation deadline stays," asserted Bautista, emphasizing the positive response from operators. He highlighted the initiative's success, stating, "This initiative has gained the support of the majority of our PUV operators."
