In a statement released today, Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Jaime J. Bautista expressed unwavering support for operators and drivers who have embraced the full implementation of the Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program (PUVMP).

Secretary Bautista emphasized the government's commitment to the PUV consolidation deadline, stating that approximately 70% of PUV operators have already participated in the consolidation process.

The DOTr assures stakeholders that the government is dedicated to ensuring the success of this program, aligning with the Marcos administration's goal of improving commuters' lives by providing cleaner and safer public transportation options.
