Consul-General Marford Angeles of the Philippine Embassy in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Assistant Labor Attaché Jesus Vicente Magsaysay, and Welfare Officer Romy Asuit of the Migrant Workers Office in Abu Dhabi (MWO-Abu Dhabi) extended their assistance and support to 22 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) from Israel as they await their flight back to Manila amidst the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict.
The meeting, organized by the MWO-Abu Dhabi, provided a platform for the OFWs to share their experiences and seek guidance on their journey home. The embassy officials reassured them of the government's support and commitment to their welfare.
The ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict has led to heightened tensions and a challenging environment for overseas Filipino workers in the region.
