Manila, Philippines - Former DSWD Secretary Erwin Tulfo, representing the ACT-CIS Partylist, officially took his oath as the newest member of the 19th Congress. Tulfo was questioned on his citizenship but the Commission on Elections junked the disqualification filed against him.

Expressing his gratitude for the opportunity to serve, Congressman Tulfo emphasized his commitment to upholding the rights and welfare of the Filipino people.

He vowed to work tirelessly to address key issues such as poverty alleviation, healthcare, and education, ensuring that the voices of marginalized communities are heard and their concerns are addressed effectively.
