F2 Logistics, once considered a struggling team, pulled off a remarkable win over defending champions Creamline in a thrilling five-setter on Saturday at the Philsports Arena in Pasig.

The Cargo Movers, who were down 2-1 in sets and trailed by three points in the fourth, rallied to stun the previously unbeaten Cool Smashers in a match that had all the intensity and drama of a championship clash.

Led by Myla Pablo's 27-point explosion, F2 Logistics leaned on their defense to keep Creamline's vaunted offense in check, with Aby Marano and Kim Dy delivering crucial blocks at key moments in the game.

Ivy Lacsina hit the clincher with a service ace that looked like it was going wide but landed just inside Creamline's Zone 1, triggering a frenzied celebration from the F2 Logistics' camp and their supporters.

The victory tied F2 Logistics with Creamline at second with 3-1 slates in the Premier Volleyball League All Filipino Conference eliminationss, with Chery Tiggo remaining the lone unbeaten squad with a 3-0 mark.

For F2 Logistics, the win was all redemption, as they came into the match reeling from a shutout loss to Chery Tiggo Crossovers last Thursday. However, they showed their fighting spirit and heart to pull off the improbable win over Creamline.

The Cargo Movers were able to bounce back strong in the second set after dropping the first, breaking away from another tight battle of power hits, quick, 1-2, and combo plays, and spectacular digs. Kim Fajardo stepped up big for the team, while Dawn Macandili anchored their defense with her excellent digs.

Carlos led Creamline with 21 points, while Jema Galanza had 18 hits, and Michele Gumabao and Pangs Panaga each fired 14 points. However, the Cool Smashers failed to finish off the Cargo Movers, who never lost hope even when they were down by three points in the fourth.
In the end, it was a thrilling victory for F2 Logistics, who turned from a fumbling unit into one solid crew, upending fancied and erstwhile unbeaten defending champions Creamline in a thriller of a finish.
