Severe Tropical Storm FALCON has intensified and is now positioned approximately 1,190 km East of Northern Luzon, with coordinates at 17.8°N, 133.0°E. The storm is moving at a speed of 15 km/h in a North Northwestward direction.

Current data indicates that FALCON is packing maximum sustained winds of 95 km/h near its center, with gustiness reaching up to 115 km/h. The central pressure has been recorded at 985 hPa.

As of now, the extent of tropical cyclone winds extends outward up to 900 km from the center. The authorities have not issued any Wind Signal hoisting for any locality in the country, based on the current forecast scenario. However, it's important to note that the enhanced Southwest Monsoon associated with FALCON will bring gusty conditions to specific areas, especially in coastal and upland/mountainous regions exposed to the winds.

The affected areas today include Zambales, Bataan, Pampanga, Bulacan, Metro Manila, Occidental Mindoro, Palawan, Romblon, Northern Samar, and most of CALABARZON, Bicol Region, and Western Visayas. Tomorrow, Ilocos Norte, Pangasinan, Zambales, Bataan, Pampanga, Bulacan, Metro Manila, Occidental Mindoro, Palawan, Romblon, Northern Samar, and most of CALABARZON, Bicol Region, and Western Visayas can expect gusty conditions. On Tuesday, the regions affected will be Ilocos Region, Abra, Benguet, Zambales, Bataan, Bulacan, Metro Manila, Bicol Region, and most of CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, and Western Visayas.

Weather experts are predicting that FALCON will continue to intensify over the next three days, gradually building up to typhoon status. The transformation is expected to take place between late evening today or tomorrow early morning, with FALCON reaching its peak intensity on Tuesday.

As FALCON strengthens, residents in the mentioned regions are urged to stay vigilant and closely monitor updates from their local disaster management authorities. Precautionary measures and preparedness plans should be in place to ensure the safety and well-being of all residents during this tropical storm's progression towards typhoon status.
