FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournaments Revealed

At the Patrick Baumann House of Basketball in Mies, Switzerland, the draw for the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournaments 2024 was held on Monday, November 27.

With 24 nations vying for a spot in the highly anticipated 2024 Olympic Games basketball tournament, here are the groupings:

Valencia, Spain - Group A:
1. Lebanon (LBN)
2. Angola (ANG)
3. Spain (ESP)

Valencia, Spain - Group B:
1. Finland (FIN)
2. Poland (POL)
3. Bahamas (BAH)

Riga, Latvia - Group A:
1. Georgia (GEO)
2. Philippines (PHI)
3. Latvia (LAT)

Riga, Latvia - Group B:
1. Brazil (BRA)
2. Cameroon (CMR)
3. Montenegro (MNE)

Piraeus, Greece - Group A:
1. Slovenia (SLO)
2. New Zealand (NZL)
3. Croatia (CRO)

Piraeus, Greece - Group B:
1. Egypt (EGY)
2. Greece (GRE)
3. Dominican Republic (DOM)

San Juan, Puerto Rico - Group A:
1. Mexico (MEX)
2. Ivory Coast (CIV)

The FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournaments 2024, set to take place in the cities of Piraeus (Greece), Riga (Latvia), San Juan (Puerto Rico), and Valencia (Spain), were announced during today's FIBA Executive Committee meeting.

The games will commence on July 2 to 7 next year to determine which nations will secure their coveted spots in the Tokyo 2024 Olympic Games.
