Sixteen overseas Filipino workers (OFWs), including an infant, have arrived in the country from Israel. They constitute the first group of OFWs to be repatriated following an attack by the militant group Hamas in Israel.

Upon their arrival, these OFWs will receive initial assistance and various forms of support, such as psycho-social counseling, stress debriefing, medical referrals, and temporary accommodation until they can return to their respective provinces.

Multiple government agencies collaborated to welcome and assist the affected OFWs in light of the ongoing conflict in Israel.
