Former Department of Interior and Local Government Undersecretary Martin Diño has passed away. This was shared by her daughter, former Film Development Council Chairperson and celebrity Liza Diño, who expressed her emotions on the passing of her father.

Martin Diño, affectionately known as "Bobot," peacefully passed away at 66 years old on August 8, 2023, at 2:15 am. He had been battling stage IV lung cancer for over a year, which ultimately led to acute respiratory failure.

In her statement, Liza Diño remembers her father as a dedicated public servant and a loving family man. She reflects on his tireless work ethic, unwavering commitment to his responsibilities, and his passion for service that defined his life's journey.
