Sixty Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and two infants from Israel arrived safely at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 yesterday, October 30, 2023, marking the fourth batch of returnees successfully repatriated by the government.

House Committee Chair on Overseas Workers Affairs Rep. Ron Salo and DMW Officer-in-Charge Hans Leo J. Cacdac, Undersecretary Eduardo De Vega, OWWA Administrator Arnell Ignacio, and senior officials from various agencies were present to extend their warm welcome to the returnees.

The returning OFWs received immediate assistance and various forms of support as part of the government's ongoing efforts to aid overseas Filipino workers facing challenges abroad. This gesture underlines the commitment of the Philippine government to prioritize the welfare of its citizens working overseas, particularly amid the ongoing global uncertainties.

With this latest batch of returnees, a total of 119 overseas Filipino workers from Israel have been safely repatriated as of October 30, 2023.
