Ara Galang, the formidable 5-foot-7 spiker from Angeles City, Pampanga, has chosen Chery Tiggo as her new home for the upcoming 2024 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) season. The announcement was made by the Crossovers on Tuesday.
Having spent an impressive seven years with F2 Logistics, Galang faced a change when the Cargo Movers team was disbanded last month. Undeterred, the 28-year-old athlete is now geared up for a fresh start with Chery Tiggo. She will be joining a stellar lineup of spikers, featuring renowned players like former league MVP Mylene Paat, Pauline Gaston, the Laure sisters, and Princess Robles.
In a double coup for Chery Tiggo, it was revealed on the same day that Aby Marano, the 31-year-old middle blocker, has also joined the team for the 2024 PVL season. Marano's decision comes after the disbandment of F2 Logistics, bringing a renewed sense of enthusiasm to her career.
Known for her indomitable 'Beast Mode Don’t Care' mentality throughout her career, Marano is determined to bring the same fierce mindset to Chery Tiggo.
