Singer Gigi de Lana collapsed on stage while performing at the Himala sa Buhangin event in Ilocos Norte on Sunday evening, May 14th. The incident happened during her set, causing a commotion among the crowd and concern from her fellow performers.

According to witnesses, de Lana appeared to be struggling during her performance, and suddenly collapsed on stage. The crowd gasped in horror as medical personnel rushed to the singer's aid.

The cause of her collapse is  earlier today  Gigi De Lana and The Gigi Vibes, were involved in a car accident while traveling from the "Sulong Aurora Event" to the "Himala Sa Buhangin Event" in Ilocos Norte.

According to the official statement released by the band's management, all members of the band and four crew members sustained minor injuries in the accident.

Thankfully, no other vehicles were involved in the incident, and the band and crew have received medical clearance from the Ilocos Training and Regional Medical Center Hospital. They will continue their journey to tonight's show at Himala sa Buhangin, Paoay, Ilocos Norte, as scheduled.

The band expressed their gratitude to the LGU of San Fernando La Union, the LUPPO, and Mr. Erickson Dinglasan for their assistance during the unexpected incident.

Despite the accident, the band members were overwhelmed by the warm reception they received from their fans in Ilocos Norte. In their official statement, they thanked their fans and promised to return and perform for them again.

However, the band also had to announce the cancellation of their upcoming show in Talavera, Nueva Ecija, to prioritize the recovery of their injured members and crew.

They assured their fans that they would make it up to them and deliver a show that's worth the wait.

The band requested their fans to join them in praying for Gigi's, Jon's, Oyus', and their team members' speedy recovery after the accident and to send them messages of support and love.
