In another post, Gigi announced an auction called "Gigi Vibes Auction 02" where she offered an iconic crop top worn in her viral music video, "Bakit Nga Ba Mahal Kita." The highest bid at the time of the post was 68,000 PHP. The item would be framed, personally signed, and the winner would have a chance to meet Gigi De Lana and her band, The Gigi Vibes. The post specified that only serious bidders should participate, invalid bids would be deleted, and private bids could be submitted through email or Facebook Messenger.

Netizens, expressed their support for Gigi, emphasizing that she is trying to raise funds for her mother's cancer treatment and highlighting the challenges she has faced due to her own medical condition, which led her to sell her belongings. They requested kindness and understanding from others in their comments.

In a separate video, Ogie Diaz, a well-known personality, called out those who made fun of Gigi's auction, emphasizing the importance of empathy and discouraging disrespectful behavior towards her efforts to support her mother.
