House Committee On Ethics And Privileges Continues Hearing On Negros Oriental Rep. Arnie Teves' Situation

The House Committee on Ethics and Privileges proceeded with its hearing this Monday, delving into the ongoing situation surrounding Negros Oriental Representative Arnolfo “Arnie” Teves.
Prominent figures from key government agencies, including officials from the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), were in attendance during the hearing.
According to Atty. Ferdinand Topacio, legal counsel for Rep. Teves, has formally requested the committee to temporarily suspend the discussion of issues pertaining to Teves while the matter is still pending before the court.
The hearing aimed to shed light on the allegations against Rep. Teves and to determine the appropriate course of action based on the available evidence. It provided an opportunity for stakeholders to present their perspectives and for committee members to engage in informed discussions.
