Jen Nierva Named As Chery Tiggo's Libero For Premier Volleyball League Invitational Conference

MANILA - The Chery Tiggo Crossovers unveiled Jen Nierva as one of their liberos for the upcoming Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Invitational Conference. The former National University (NU) standout is set to bring her exceptional skills and experience to the team, adding strength and depth to their defensive lineup.
Nierva, who was hailed as the Best Libero in UAAP Season 84, proved her mettle during her final season with the Lady Bulldogs. She ranked second in receiving with an impressive efficiency rating of 50.59 percent, demonstrating her ability to handle powerful serves. Additionally, she showcased her digging prowess by averaging 2.9 digs per set, securing the sixth spot in the league.
As the first new recruit to be unveiled by Chery Tiggo, Nierva's signing marks the beginning of a promising lineup for the Crossovers. The team had previously hinted at five new additions, generating anticipation among fans and creating a buzz within the volleyball community.
During the previous All-Filipino Conference, Buding Duremdes and Bingle Landicho held the libero positions for Chery Tiggo. However, with Nierva's arrival, the team aims to strengthen their defensive game further and maximize her skills to enhance their overall performance. Nierva's inclusion in the team comes at a crucial time as the Crossovers gear up for the PVL Invitational Conference.

Moreover, Nierva joins the squad after Jaja Santiago's return to the Chery Tiggo Crossovers family following her stint in the recently concluded Japan V. Premier League.
