The news was disclosed by close friend and godfather to the couple, Ricco Ocampo, who shared details about the couple's decision to part ways.
Ocampo revealed that the celebrity pair has been separated since 2019 but emphasized that despite the split, they have maintained a strong and supportive friendship. In a statement to ABS-CBN News, Ocampo stated, "While the friendship between the two remains, they have decided it is time to lead separate lives. They are encouraging each other to grow, albeit in different directions. It was a mutual decision, an amicable separation, dealt with grace and maturity by both parties."
