Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and head coach Andy Reid once again proved why they are among the best in the NFL as they led their team to a Super Bowl victory over the Philadelphia Eagles.

Despite trailing 10-points at halftime and a hobbled ankle for Mahomes, the Chiefs quarterback came out firing in the second half and led three consecutive TD drives to take the lead. The MVP quarterback continued to avoid the Eagles' fierce pass rush and had a 26-yard run with a limp to set up the game-winning score.

With the win, Mahomes now has the most playoff wins when trailing by double-digits after Tom Brady.

Despite the loss, Eagles Quarterback Jalen Hurts still put up an MVP-worthy performance. The quarterback set a Super Bowl record with 70 rushing yards, three rushing touchdowns and 304 passing yards with a score.

Hurts generated 374 of the Eagles' 417 total yards, but a crucial fumble in the early game and inability to get a stop from the defense in the final drive cost the Eagles the win.

The Chiefs defense, led by Steve Spagnuolo, made their presence felt with big hits throughout the game. Despite giving up yards, the young secondary continued to hit and tackle effectively after the catch, limiting the Eagles to zero yards after catch.

The Eagles dominated the contest with more first downs, yards and time of possession, but big swings such as Hurts' fumble, a punt return by Kadarius Toney that set up a Chiefs touchdown, and a defensive hold by James Bradberry allowed the Chiefs to ultimately come out on top.
