Karl Eldrew Yulo Shines In Men's Artistic Gymnastics In Palarong Pambansa 2023

In a stunning display of talent and skill, Karl Eldrew Yulo, the 15-year-old gymnast and sibling of Olympian Carlos Yulo, has secured his place in the spotlight at Palarong Pambansa 2023.
Competing in the University’s Basic Education Department, Yulo dominated the secondary boys’ artistic gymnastics event at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex Gymnastics Center on August 3, clinching the gold medal in the individual all-around category.
With an impressive average score of 46.25 points, Karl secured his fourth consecutive individual all-around title, but this time in the secondary level, further distancing himself from his brother's shadow.
Not content with just the overall win, he also earned gold medals in the floor exercise, vault, high bar, and pommel horse events. His exceptional performances in each apparatus showcased his dedication and hard work.
Yulo's prowess on the gymnastics floor was undeniable as he notched outstanding scores: 14.5 in floor exercise, 13.25 in vault, 9.4 in mushroom, and 9.1 in horizontal bar.
Furthermore, his extraordinary efforts led the National Capital Region team to the championship, solidifying his status as a gymnastic powerhouse.
