The royal tour is set to commemorate the enduring ties between the UK and its neighboring nation.

The royal couple participated in a ceremonial event at the iconic Arc de Triomphe. A Flypast featuring the Red Arrows from the Royal Air Force and their French Air Force counterparts symbolizes the long-standing alliance shared by the two countries.

Following this tribute, King Charles and French President Emmanuel Macron jointly laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame, honoring the sacrifices made by French and British troops in conflicts spanning from the First World War to the present day.

The Elysée Palace, the official residence of President Macron and Madame Macron, played host to a bilateral meeting between King Charles and the French President.

The royal couple also took time to greet the enthusiastic crowds during a brief walkabout, cementing their connection with the French people.

A State Banquet was held at the Palace of Versailles. In his address during the banquet, King Charles expressed his sentiments in French, emphasizing the importance of the firm friendship of both nations, renewed and reinvigorated with each new generation.
His Majesty raised a toast to President and Madame Macron, the French people, and the lasting "Entente Cordiale," wishing for its faithfulness and constancy for centuries to come.
