In a heartwarming development, the House of Representatives has approved a bill granting popular YouTube vlogger Kyle “Kulas” Jennermann Filipino citizenship. Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez welcomed Jennermann to his office on Tuesday afternoon for a courtesy call, and the House Members also greeted him during plenary.

Jennermann, who has been promoting the Philippines to the world through his Becoming Filipino YouTube channel, was almost moved to tears when he shared the news on Instagram. "Yesterday was one of the greatest days of my life," he wrote. "I am so grateful to everyone in Congress for sharing so much positive energy and belief in me."

Jennermann's journey to becoming a Filipino citizen began when he met Congresswoman Len Alonte, who filed House Bill 7185. Over the past year and a half, Alonte has been working behind the scenes to help Jennermann realize his dream.

Despite his love for the Philippines and the positive impact he has had on its image through his YouTube channel, Jennermann admitted to having doubts about whether he deserved to be a Filipino citizen. However, he eventually came to believe in himself and his ability to be the best Filipino he can be.

The passing of House Bill 7185 with no one voting against it is a testament to the House of Representatives' belief in Jennermann and the impact he has had on the Philippines. The bill will now be transmitted to the Senate for possible approval.

Jennermann's joy and gratitude at the news of his impending Filipino citizenship serve as a reminder of the power of positive energy and belief in oneself. His story is an inspiration to many and a testament to the beauty of the Philippines and its people.
