Filipino singers KZ Tandingan and TJ Monterde have renewed their vows and celebrated their love with an intimate wedding ceremony. The couple, who initially tied the knot in August 2020 amid the challenges posed by the pandemic, decided to commemorate their third wedding anniversary with a special celebration held in Quezon City.
TJ Monterde took to Facebook to share the joyous news with their fans and followers. He posted several heartwarming photos from the ceremony, capturing the love and happiness shared by the newlyweds and their families. His caption read, "YEP, NAGPAKASAL KAMI ULIT! 馃拲 sa mga nagtatanong, yes, exactly a week ago, KZ and I celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary through a very small and intimate wedding dito lang sa QC, simple lang."
The couple's first wedding in 2020 was an intimate affair attended by just 23 people due to pandemic restrictions. Their parents and siblings could only join the celebration through a virtual ceremony, wearing wedding attire and sharing the special moment via Zoom. Despite the challenges, both sets of parents gave their blessings to the union, emphasizing the importance of the occasion.
This time around, KZ and TJ decided to honor their parents by holding a second wedding ceremony where everyone could be physically present. It was a touching gesture to bring their families together and express their gratitude. TJ shared, "It was a very special, beautiful moment."
The highlight of the ceremony was the exchange of heartfelt vows. While they expressed their love and appreciation for each other, both KZ and TJ dedicated their vows to their respective in-laws, much to their parents' surprise. TJ vowed to take care of KZ's parents as his own, and KZ reciprocated with the same promise to TJ's parents. The couple's wedding was not just about their love for each other but also about the deepening of their bonds with each other's families.
TJ eloquently stated, "On that day was a wedding, an agreement — a covenant. A covenant to take care of each other and each other's families, kasi hindi lang kami ang naging 'one' dito, both our families are also family now."
"KZ, thank you for being so easy to love. 'Ulit-ulitin man, nais kong malaman mong Iyo ako, palagi, " he added.
