Lea Salonga Performs for State Dinner at White House

Singer Lea Salonga took to Instagram to share her excitement after performing for a state dinner at the White House on Wednesday evening.

The renowned performer, who is best known for her role as Kim in "Miss Saigon" and for voicing the character of Princess Jasmine in Disney's "Aladdin," expressed her gratitude towards director Michael Arden for inviting her to be part of the event.

Salonga shared a photo of herself with Norm Lewis and Broadway star Jessica Vosk, as well as the Joint Force Chorus and the US Marine Band.

"Oh what a night!!!" Salonga wrote in the caption. "This was my first time to perform for a state dinner at the White House! Thank you, @michaelarden for asking me to be part of it!"
Salonga's fans and fellow performers were quick to congratulate her on the momentous occasion, with many expressing their admiration for her talent and her contribution to the arts.
