According to the official earthquake information released by the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS), the quake's epicenter was located at 15.42°N, 119.67°E, approximately 26 kilometers southwest of Palauig, Zambales.
Reported intensities indicate that Quezon City experienced shaking at Intensity III, while the towns of Botolan, Iba, Cabangan, and San Marcelino in Zambales also felt the tremor at the same intensity level.
