Magnolia Hotshots continued their resurgence in the PBA Governors' Cup with a 119-103 victory over NLEX Road Warriors on Thursday night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. The Hotshots, who had a woeful 0-3 start to the season, secured their third straight win with replacement import Antonio Hester leading a fiery second half.

Hester was impressive for the Hotshots, scoring 37 points and helping the team turn the tide in the second half. He was ably supported by Paul Lee, who contributed 18 points, and Jio Jalalon, who chipped in 17 points. Mark Barroca and Justin Dionisio each had 13 points, while Calvin Abueva finished with 10 points.

Despite a strong showing from Tony Selden Jr., who scored 25 points for NLEX, the Road Warriors couldn't keep up with the Hotshots' offensive firepower. Ganuelas-Rosser contributed 20 points, while Kris Rosales added 19 points.

With the win, Magnolia improved their record to 3-3 in the tournament. The Hotshots will look to continue their winning streak when they face the Rain or Shine on February 22.
