Marcos Admin Names New Appointees

President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. has named Ella Blanca Lopez as Commissioner of the National Telecommunications Commission, according to a statement released by Malacañang on Friday.
Lopez previously served as the officer-in-charge of the Commission before her appointment on February 7, 2023.
Aside from the appointment of Lopez, the Presidential Communications Office also announced other presidential appointments in various departments, including the Department of Agrarian Reform, Department of Agriculture, Department of Budget and Management, Department of Labor and Employment, and Department of National Defense.
In the Department of Agrarian Reform, Romeo L. Reyes was appointed as Director IV, Josemari L. Hernando as Director III, and Lita M. Rosales as Director III. Meanwhile, in the Department of Agriculture, Karen Kristine A. Roscom was appointed as Director IV of the Bureau of Agriculture and Fisheries Standards, and Paul C. Limson as Director IV of the Bureau of Animal Industry.
In the Department of Budget and Management, Ma. Jozzenne Claire M. Beltran-Carandang was named as the Deputy Executive Director IV of the Government Procurement Policy Board-Technical Support Office, and Maria Dionesia A. Rivera-Guillermo as the Deputy Executive Director IV.
In the Department of Labor and Employment, several members were appointed to the National Tripartite Industrial Peace Council and Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Commission. In the Department of National Defense, Leonel M. Nicolas was named as the Chief of Intelligence Service, Philippine Army.
