Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has left his wife, Priscilla Chan, fuming after he decided to tear up their garden to build his own Octagon for MMA training.
The Sun in the United Kingdom reported that the move comes amid ongoing talk of a potential celebrity billionaire bout between Zuckerberg and Twitter owner Elon Musk.
Zuckerberg took to the Threads app to share a screenshot of Musk's post about lifting weights throughout the day in preparation for the fight. He expressed his readiness for the bout and even suggested a potential date, Aug 26, but Musk has yet to confirm.
The passionate UFC fan, Zuckerberg, has been taking his MMA training seriously and has even trained with UFC stars like Alexander Volkanovski and Israel Adesanya. Adding to the hype, welterweight fighter and Brazilian jiu-jitsu ace Gilbert Burns has invited himself over for a training session in Zuckerberg's new garden-turned-octagon.
While Zuckerberg seems enthusiastic about the idea, his wife, Priscilla, is less pleased with the sudden transformation of their garden. Zuckerberg shared text messages between the couple, where he praised the octagon's appearance and reassured her that they still had plenty of yard space.
UFC chief Dana White is hopeful that the potential fight between Zuckerberg and Musk will become a reality, predicting it to be the "biggest fight ever in the history of the world" and break all pay-per-view records.
